Biography
Micaela L. Swim was born and raised in San Diego. She earned dual degrees from the University of Oregon in 2018 — a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a concentration in Human Rights and Law.
During her undergraduate studies she studied abroad in France and volunteered at a French-immersion elementary school and with a Human Trafficking Awareness and Outreach initiative. Micaela earned her Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2024, where she was a member of the Mock Trial team, co-founded Students for Sensible Drug Policy, and participated in the Second Chance Reentry Law Clinic. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 2024.
Outside the office, Micaela enjoys the beach, reading, cooking, hiking, and traveling.
